The end

Death is ugly
The body failing
To do what the body does
The mind failing
To understand what the mind knows

Love is beautiful
Shining light into darkness
Doing with the heart
What can no longer be done by the body
Transcending mortal understanding

And so it would seem
The best medicine for the dying
Is to hold them in love
Doing the work of God
For them and within them

Until He welcomes them home
