Monday Psalms, Psalm 44 (43)

Rouse Yourself! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Our soul is bowed down to the dust. Rise up, come to our help! Deliver us for the sake of Your merciful love!

In our most difficult moments, in our most difficult trials, in our deepest sorrow, we cry out to God, who will answer us with His love. Call to Him.
