Ante Meridiem

In pre-dawn silence
When mist joins hands with darkness
Street lights fail to illuminate clarity
Yet somehow magnify beauty
My eyes focus on what is blurred
Though muted
Light remains whole
Though refracted
Color remains vivid
Perhaps more so
Considering visual singularity
Fog offers unexpected lucidity
Believing in the Light
You are all I see
Et lux tenebris lucet
Et tenebris eam non conprehenderunt
Christi lumine
Amen
