Interconnectedness

If we believe
God is the Creator
Of all things
Then when destroy
Something within His Creation
We sin

Although perhaps
There are degrees within
He commands us to love one another
As we love ourselves
So destruction of other or of self
Seems more grave

Perhaps also

We need to consider that
Destruction of lesser things
Also hurts others
Misappropriating
God’s created beauty

If we believe
That together we compose
The Body of Christ
We must tread lightly
His interconnected Holy Body
To avoid sin
