Prayer for our Priests based on 2 Timothy 4:1-5

Lord Jesus, you charged your priests as shepherds to preach the Word, regardless of time, with all due urgency and in patience, teach the truth.  Bless them as there will come a time when people will turn from your truth and appoint those who strike their own fancy. May your duly ordained priests be steadfast in their ministry, enduring suffering and sharing the Good News. Amen
