Story in 7

The earth was without form or shape
Let us make man, in our image
And on the seventh day, He rested
I have today, set before you, life
Be strong and steadfast, have no fear
Be still and know I am God
Dwell in the House of the Lord

For unto us, a child is born
They name him wonder counselor, almighty God
He was in the beginning with God
Make straight the way of the Lord
He said “Behold, the Lamb of God”
“You will see things greater than this”
“Do whatever he tells you to do”

But that the world might be saved
“He must increase while I must decrease”
Then he handed him over to them
Taking the wine, said “It is finished”
Bowing his head, he surrendered his spirit
He has risen. He is not here.
Everyone who loves is begotten by God.

  1. Wow! yet another insightful teaching. Thanks Tim

Genesis 1 26-27 teachers us that we were (ARE) Created in the image and likeness of our God. BUT How and why?
Genesis 2:67 shares this amazing Fact: “[6] But a spring rose out of the earth, watering all the surface of the earth. [7] And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth: and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul”

And then consider that GOD created the Universe by Willing it into existence out of nothing; BUT humanity was made out the “Dust of the earth.”

Surely there must be a reason for our existence. Isaiah 43:7 & 21 ell is the why.
What an amazing God we have who created us a rational beings in emulation of our God so that we could choose to love orhate each other and Our God…. What an astounding risk GOD takes with us.
    Thanks Tim
