Memorial Day

“Let us, then, at the time appointed, gather around their sacred remains and garland the passionless mounds above them with choicest flowers of springtime; let us raise above them the dear old flag they saved from dishonor; let us in this solemn presence renew our pledges to aid and assist those whom they have left among us as sacred charges upon the Nation’s gratitude — the soldier’s and sailor’s widow and orphan.”
-General John Logan, 1868

On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom and those who serve now with the same courage. May the examples of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill their homes and their lives with Your strength and peace. Amen

    Thank you

I am of the mind that the most honorable way we, all of us can honor the freedoms sacrifice of the past is to Vote to end “legalized abortion ”

The lives sacrificed in war would in a Moral righteousness be honored by such an act
May Jesus help us to accomplish this; You shall not Kill except in defence

    God Please DO bless America

  2. Amen! And let us pray for the poor veterans who have experienced a greater death by having survived war but not its horrors. May God grant them peace of mind and soul. May they once again find God’s gift of life worth living.
