  1. By the rivers of Babylon, There we sat down and wept, When we remembered Zion. – Psalm 137, 1
    We have reason to weep whenever we alienate ourselves from God by our sins.
    Thanks for another enlightening post, Tim.

  2. I’m amazed how few of US seem to recognize that our very existence; LIFE self is a {the} God Test

    “Take up YOUR cross and FOLLOW ME” appears at least four times in the New Testament. And it is to be understood as a literal COMMAND {not an option.}

    Jesus suffered and therefore we too MUST and WILL suffer. It is HOW we deal with that suffering, that will in large part determine where we will spend eternity.

    This reality is worth thinking about; its worth praying about.

    May Jesus lead US home,

  3. That verse John 11:35 is a most powerful verse and one I visit so often…
    Reaching to our divinity is such a compassionate deepness…its cost …so immense….thank you for your post this morning…Namaste’
    “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning” (Psalm 30:5). And when that morning comes, “death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore” (Revelation 21:4).
