“If two of you agree on earth about anything for which you pray, it shall be granted to you by my heavenly Father. For where two or more are gathered together in my name, I am with you.”
The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us, “Prayer in the events of each day and each moment is one of the secrets of the kingdom revealed” to us as Christians. We can pray for big things – peace in the world, understanding of the Kingdom of God, or the like – or we can pray for smaller things. “It is just as important to bring the help of prayer into humble, everyday situations” (CCC 2660). Reflections from the Pew has a spot for all to share their prayers. Your prayer will become part of my daily prayer and I will post a log of prayers each week (with private details omitted) so that the entire Reflections from the Pew community can pray together. Visit “Prayer Requests” in the prayer pull-down menu and post your prayer in the “comments” section.
